Hi all

First post here, and i'm really happy that we have this forum so we all can stay in contact!

I wanted to say, i really enjoyed being in Templar with all of you, we did a good job holding ground against Elite, and already had some nice and really funny chats . Too bad the game lacked of good ways to communicate. I can only repeat what i said in game already, it was really cool up to the point when it was just grinding for weeks to proceed any further. At some point i even had no fun anymore in playing it at all, rather than just doing the daily stuff and so on, collecting stuff for next event or generally for later use.

When i login now, i don't even feel motivated anymore to click on any icon, partly because i got bored of it and partly because i know it makes no sense anyway because the game will shutdown in like 10 days. That said, i will not come online daily anymore. I will stick around here though and keep reading from time to time. Maybe one day we find something cool as replacement. In the meanwhile i realized how much time i've spent on this game in the past... being logged in for like 8-10 hours, clicking stuff etc. I must say, i enjoy not playing anything at all for now. Started reading a lot, mostly news articles and comment sections.

Btw, on Kongregate someone told me that Proficient City already did this with many games under a different company name, buying games, hosting them for a year or so until profit isn't increasing anymore, then taking them offline and rinse/repeat somewhere else. Seems to be profitable enough to keep going. Dunno if this is true but i wouldn't be too surprised if it was. And sth funny: You know that story when i wrote to support, asking stuff about the game, why they take it down, telling them that i'm sad about it and enjoyed it and that even support team was doing a good job. They replied to me ingame with a gift (this jungle thingy spirit stone), and that they will start a new game soon: SNACKS MANAGER. Lol, nice gift and really a nice gesture! But really, snacks manager? Lol ok... i am not convinced yet :DD

Oh, and for now i don't feel like starting this game again on any server. Maybe at a later point... dunno yet (insert orkbuster smiley).

P.S: Would be nice if we got saskec to stop by here and register too. Maybe i shoot him an email and ask him. He's a fun guy to hang around with, guess he just got mega-bored and burnt out too.

OB4, it's working really bad last days. Gameplay get's stuck every 3-5min., which means loosing the dungeon run you're in. However, still will wait and see if gets fixed.

As far as i know, Ratta talked to our comunity manager (!? ) or support guy, and was told OB servers (main site www.orkbuster.com -> go server 4) will go on, won't shut down.
